ICT solutions in India

ICT solutions across the globe have taken learning into 21st century education. Indian Educators has also started exploring the impact of implementing ICT solutions and stunned by the interactive, informative and synergistic environment provided by it.
The integration of ICT solutions in India is going to be the key driving force to enhance its education improving the social and economical progress. Although schools, colleges and universities in major cities have started showing interest in ICT solutions but rural areas have shown little interest. Using ICT solutions into education enhances children’s creativity and builds their self esteem. The use of ICT solutions in India helps remove the boundaries between learning and experiences that take place in home and at school.
Nowadays ICT (Information and Communication Technology) solutions like smart whiteboards, visualiser; Audience Response System etc has been of great interest among teachers across globe for teaching. Indian education system will be getting real benefits by implementing ICT. Every school, college and university in India must implement ICT solutions like smart whiteboards into their classroom.
The time of educators using the traditional smart whiteboards with a dry erase pen for writing is changing rapidly across the globe with the advancement of ICT (Information and communication technology) solutions. The critical aspect in a teaching process is the quality of the lessons delivered by the teachers to the students. Nowadays Teachers are using Interactive Whiteboards to improve the quality of the instructions. Whiteboards make teaching sessions interactive and motivating. Some are finger touch board while others are having electronic pen. A visualiser is an ICT (information and communication technology) product which is connected a projector and an whiteboard. When any object or thing is placed onto the visualiser viewing base it is enlarged onto the projection screen or whiteboard for every student to see. Visualiser allows any document to be shown, from a student’s work or 3D artifacts to the science experiment samples. Teachers can annotate on the images shown on the screen or the board, zoom in and out, get different views and angles and capture still shots with the help of the visualiser. The teachers found they could communicate the subject matter with greater impact and increased student participation with the visualiser. Often quiet and withdrawn children can respond spontaneously using ICT based Audience Response System.
Time has come to implement ICT solutions in India enabling teachers to deliver 21st Century education to their students making them competitive. All schools, colleges and universities across India must take significant decisions regarding ICT solutions into their classroom.
